Improvement works on the road end closures will re-commence on site on Thursday 7 May, 2020.
The principal contractors, Horan Construction, have now put the necessary safety mechanisms in place to allow their staff to safely continue with the proposed works.
Following the public health guidance regarding Coronavirus, the Tudor Street Commercial Improvement Scheme has been postponed until further notice.
The Council is responsible for delivering some of our city’s most essential services and we are having to make changes in a way that protects all our residents to ensure we make every effort to delay the spread of COVID-19. In response, the Council is having to re-assess and prioritise the delivery of our regeneration schemes.
As soon as we are in a position to proceed with the scheme, we will provide an update.
The following schemes have also been affected:
· Arnold Avenue & Bronte Crescent Environmental Improvement Scheme
Following the public health guidance and the updated government warnings regarding Coronavirus, the improvement works under the above schemes will cease until further notice.
As soon as we are in a position to process with the schemes, we will provide an update.
We offer our sincere apologies for any extended inconvenience this may cause to residents.
